This article explores the legal aspects of conducting work using digital platforms such as Freelancer, Upwork, etc., but also work done through platforms such as Wolt, Glovo, and delves into the analysis of legal position of platform workers in the Republic of Serbia.
With the development of digital work platforms, new forms of work have emerged, characterized by specific relationships between workers, the platform, and the client.This situation has led to legal uncertainty regarding the labor rights of platform workers, opening the door to potential abuses, particularly in terms of denying basic labor and social rights to this category of individuals.
In this article, Andrijana strives to assess the labor rights of platform workers in the Republic of Serbia, and the need for potential amendments to existing legal regulations, all while shedding light on global perspectives and scientific literature.
